Abstract

Microwave-generated plasmas at atmospheric pressure have greatly expanded for industrial purpose. By designing a waveguide the electic field as a source generating plasma is calculated. Using a magnetron 700 W and a nozzle injecting nitrogen gas test the waveguide experimentally to ignite the system. The test has been achieved successfully for few seconds.
