Abstract

A study has been conducted on the numerical model of a natural electromagnetic wave measurement tool for mineral exploration using the finite element approach. From the results of the study, the finite element method is able to describe the response of the natural electromagnetic field well, while the image of mineral deposits can be shown well through the two-dimensional geological structure image created. It turns out that the magnitude of the natural electromagnetic field response depends on the frequency, the parameters of the geological mineral deposits such as the position of the skin depth.
